Research Activity
The main scientific direction of the laboratory is the development of organic semiconducting materials based on push-pull conjugated oligomers and polymers, which have efficient absorption of sunlight, high charge mobility, high resistance to thermal, photo- and electrochemical influences, and other set of properties necessary to create highly efficient light and flexible organic photovoltaic devices. Among the related research areas of the laboratory is the development of functional materials and devices based on them for organic and hybrid optoelectronics, medicine, photonics, agriculture, etc.
Main scientific directions
- Development and research of photoactive materials based on conjugated oligomers and polymers with p- and n-type conductivity for highly efficient organic solar cells and photodetectors;
- Fabrication and investigation of organic solar cells and photodetectors;
- Development of organic semiconductors for related areas of alternative energy: hole and electron transport layers for perovskite solar cells; photocatalytic systems for water photolysis, etc.;
- Development of biocompatible organic molecular systems with absorption and emission in biologically transparent spectral ranges for medicine;
- Development of photo- and electroluminescent materials based on organic semiconductors with efficient light emission in thin films and polymer composites for light-transforming agrotextiles in crop production, light-emitting diodes, photonics devices, etc.
