On August 19, 2025, an extended seminar of the Biopolymers Department was held in the conference hall of ISPM RAS within the framework of the international Russian-Indian RSF project, at which the head of the Indian research team, Professor Priyadarsi De from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata, presented a lecture "Side-Chain Amino Acid-Based Polymers for Biomedical Applications". The speaker described the synthesis and application of such polymers as polymer-protein bioconjugates, their antibacterial properties, actin polymerization, use as drug and gene delivery systems, as well as fibril inhibition. The report raised great interest and many questions from the audience - researchers, postgraduates and students from ISPM RAS and Lomonosov Moscow State University.
