The 11th International Conference European Silicon Days (ESD11) was held on July 14-16, 2025 at the at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences of the Paris Lodron University Salzburg located in the south of Salzburg (Austria). This event has become the leading international platform in 2025 for presenting and discussing achievements in the field of organosilicon chemistry and silicone chemistry, both basic research and applied solutions. The conference covered a wide range of scientific fields (molecular chemistry of silicon, organometallic compounds of silicon, silicone materials and their applications, nanostructured silicon-containing systems and the use of AI in materials science). The program included more than 70 presentations, and the conference ended with the Wacker Silicon Award ceremony, an excursion to the Wacker factory in Burghausen and a banquet at Kavalierhaus Klessheim. On the Russian side, the conference was attended by Deputy Director for Science of the ISPM RAS M.V. Bermeshev, senior researcher at the Laboratory of Synthesis of Organoelement Polymers I.B. Meshkov and junior researcher at the same laboratory A.G. Khmelnitskaya. The conference became an important platform for the exchange of ideas and solutions that can significantly affect the development of both fundamental science and high-tech industries. the silicon industry.
