The Chinese-Russian Symposium on Green Chemistry and Technology of Organosilicon Polymers and Materials was held at Shandong University (Jinan, Shandong, China) on June 3 - 8, 2025. The Russian delegation included academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.M. Muzafarov and I.L. Fedyushkin, corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences M.V. Bermeshev and S.A. Ponomarenko, as well as a number of leading researchers of ISPM RAS, INEOS RAS and the other Russian scientific organizations. The honorary guest of the Symposium was a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Martin Moeller (Germany). The Symposium discussed the topics of synthesis of organosilicon polymers, the development of environmentally friendly materials and the use of new products, as well as current research in the field of environmentally friendly organosilicon materials. The symposium included round tables on the application of organosilicon materials, chemistry of organosilicon compounds and organosilicon polymers, as well as visits to enterprises of the Chinese silicon industry.
